Golf Courses

A golf course is a space designed to play the game of golf. It is based around a number of holes, usually consisting of eighteen holes like in a standard round of golf. Depending on the size of the golf course, the number of holes increases up to twenty-seven or thirty-six holes allowing players to choose the eighteen holes they are going to be using, or decreasing to nine basic holes where players have to play the holes twice in every round of the game.

The main features of a golf features are: the teeing ground (or tee-box), the water hazard, the rough, the out of bounds, the bunker, the fairway, the putting green, the pin and the holes. There are different kinds of grass used for fairways and roughs, mostly depending on the budget and climate type of the golf course. In golf events, the grass of the height is also changed to increase difficulty.
